Kris Aquino now lives on a private beach, close friend Dindo Balares says (2025)

It seems that Kris Aquinodecided to let go of the hustle and bustle of the metro as she has settled on a private beach, as revealed by her close friend Dindo Balares.

Balares took to his Instagram page on Thursday, May 29, to give a fresh update about Aquino’s condition, saying that the Queen of All Media is staying at the undisclosed beach until her “tolerance trial.”

“Sa beach po nakatira si Kris Aquino. ‘Yan ang latest update para sa mga nagmamahal, nag-aalala, at patuloy na nagdarasal para sa kanyang kalusugan,” he said. “Nakatira at matagal mananatili sa naturang private beach si Kris. ‘I am staying here until my tolerance trial,’ kuwento niya last week.”

(Kris Aquino lives on a beach now. This is the latest update for those who love, are worried, and continue to pray for her health condition. Kris is living and will be staying at the private beach for quite some time. “I am staying here until my tolerance trial,” she told me last week.)

In his post, Balares also denied the allegations that Aquino is currently in a critical condition, while calling out those who are perpetuating fake news about the actress-host.

“Marami uli ang worried dahil hindi napapagod ang mga gumagawa ng fake news tungkol sa kalagayan ni Kris. Katunayan, kumontak na pati kaibigan kong international news ang work, kung totoo raw ang mga nababasa niya sa social media,” he wrote.

“’Sabi ni Kris Aquino ‘kritikal na po ako.’ Tapos may nagpost: ‘she stopped fighting,’ in coma ba siya?’ message niya. Kung ang friend ko nga na media veteran muntik pang mapaniwala ng fake news, e, di lalo na ang netizens,” he added.

Despite the false reports made about her condition, Balares said Aquino has maintained her silence. He reiterated, though, that he wanted to stand up for the Queen of All Media.

“Mas pinipili muna sana ni Kris na manahimik, pero may mga nagsasamantala namang gumawa ng fake news tuwing walang anumang balita tungkol sa kanya. Kailangang mag-post ng totoo. Katotohanan lang ang panlaban sa fake news at kasinungalingan,” he said.

The writer-editor also looked back at his previous conversation with Aquino, who revealed to him that her blood pressure has been “behaving.”
